Aerial for telephone - R65- : removing and installing, León / León SC

Special tools and workshop equipment required

  • Torque wrenches - V.A.G 1410-

Communication

The telephone antenna - R65- is below the rear left bumper cover.

removing

  • Switch off ignition and all electrical equipment.

Vehicles without access and start authorisation system

  • Remove ignition key, if fitted.

Vehicles with access and start authorisation system

  • Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.

Continued for all vehicles

  • Remove rear bumper cover .
  • Release and pull off connector -2-.
  • Remove nut -arrow-.
  • Detach telephone antenna - R65- -1- from the bracket.

Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
