Before checking the battery, select the correct test mode on the battery tester - VAS 6161- .
- Maintenance test: applicable only for new vehicles which were stored by the importer or the dealer before being delivered to the customer.
- Warranty test: applicable only for vehicles and components covered under warranty.
- Service test: applicable only for vehicles and components no longer covered under warranty and for vehicles with third-party batteries.

Battery status: Read off and send the diagnosis protocol online
