Removal:

  • Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.

Vehicles without access and start authorisation system

  • Remove ignition key, if fitted.

Vehicles with access and start authorisation system

  • Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.

Continued for all vehicles

  • Disconnect battery.
  • Remove knee airbag on driver's side.
  • Screw out the bolt -1- and detach the driver side footwell vent -2-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

Air conditioning system

Removing and installing front passenger side footwell vents

Removal:

  • Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.

Vehicles without access and start authorisation system

  • Remove ignition key, if fitted.

Vehicles with access and start authorisation system

  • Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.

Continued for all vehicles

  • Unscrew the bolt -3-.
  • Disengage the retaining tab -arrow- and remove the vent -2- from the air distributor body -1- and remove the vent -2-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
